crisscross (xy)

I wanted to experiment with a white background to see what it would look like, however the look was unintentional (in a good way). I called it crisscross because it took me awhile (about two days) to come up with the right name. It was supposed to be called crosscross (xx) originally but then a light went off in my mind. "It's not a cross cross, it's a crisscross! Kinda like crisscross applesauce. So if x equals cross , then what does y equal? Criss? It didn't make sense at first, so I searched up a graph. Looking at the graph x and y overlap so in a way they were crisscrossing proving my point. I hope you enjoyed the commentary, if it made any sense.
